Oxygen Unveils First 3D Edition While SONY BRAVIA LX900 Gives Special 3D Preview

Reading a magazine, or more specifically viewing (or gawking) at images will be a thing of the past with the unveiling of the first 3D edition by Oxygen – a celebrated fashion and lifestyle magazine at a recent event at Bangsar Village 2 on 16 June 2010. True to its calling, Oxygen has taken creativity to another level through this mind blowing 3D edition and art exhibition.

Known for its quirky, out-of- the-box concepts, Oxygen has been in the newsstand for around 3 years, where it takes an unconventional approach by delivering intelligent and insightful content presented through arresting layouts.

The 3D concept was first conceptualised six months ago and has since expanded to include a three day 3D art exhibition at the concourse of Bangsar Village 2. The exhibition showcase comprised photographs and artwork by participating clients and fashion editorials, include masterpiece photographs by celebrated Japanese 3D photographer, Yasutaka Sakata.

During the launch, media and guests were provided with a pair of 3D anaglyph glasses to view the featured art and later ushered into Sony section to experience Sony’s latest 3D innovation – BRAVIA LX900 3D TV.

BRAVIA LX900’s screen flows seamlessly into its bezel in a frameless design, offering viewers an engaging new cinematic experience, in addition to being a conversation piece in any living space.

Sony’s newly developed proprietary technology enables 3D compatible BRAVIA TV sets to convert 2D image into simulated 3D image. Apart from being a revolutionary 3D TV, the BRAVIA LX900 is also capable of high performance as a regular Full HD LCD TV with value-added features. The BRAVIA LX900 offers hours of endless entertainment to users with the BRAVIA Internet Video & BRAVIA Internet Widgets features.
